Dr. Wong was born in the city of Chicago and grew up in the suburb of Schaumburg where she attended Schaumburg High School. Dr. Wong then recieved her Bachlors in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Wong always found the time to get involved in the community. Her heavy involvement as the head of 2 volunteer programs and the secretary of the Volunteer Leadership Committee at the UIC Hospital led her to realize her real passion in helping patients get better. Having had worked in a pharmacy for 10 years, Dr. Wong sincerely wanted to help patients using more natural approaches. Shortly after undergrad Dr. Wong attended the National University of Health Sciences where she graduated with her Massage Therapy Certification in April 2011 and Doctorate of Chiropractic in August 2011. Dr. Wong was the recipient of the Certificate of Appreciation from SACA for her efforts and involvement in the SACA. During her course of study Dr. Wong also recieved her Acupuncture certification in post graduate classes and learned Corrective Taping and Strength & Conditioning techniques to better help patients. Dr. Wong specializes in pediatric and prenatal care and is is certified in Webster’s technique. Dr. Wong is certified in pediatric care by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (C.A.C.C.P.) in 2017.While at National University of Health Sciences Dr. Wong was heavily involved in the Student American Chiropractic Association, serving as Secretary and advancing to President. Dr. Wong had the opportunity to attend ACA House of Delegate meetings, Leadership Conferences, and the annual National Chiropractic Legislative Conference to lobby for Chiropractic Rights. Dr. Wong was also the Editor in Chief of “Mirror,” the school yearbook for 3 years. She also was a member of Lambdi Chi Sorority, where she was able to practice chiropractic technique with his peers on a weekly basis, Fellowship of Christian University Students, where she got to fellowship with other Christian students on campus, Massage Therapy Program representative in Student council, Motion Palpation Club, and Secretary of her graduating class. Dr. Wong also had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in the Research Department of NUHS.
As a Licensed Chiropractic Physician and Licensed Massage Therapist Dr. Wong is well trained in areas of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, musculoskeletal injuries, biomechanics, nutritional counseling.
Dr. Wong married Dr. Kim 2014. Dr. Wong and Dr. Kim met in Chiropractic schools. Dr. Wong enjoys playing guitar, piano, and drums for worship team at church, crocheting, and scrapbooking. Dr. Wong’s favorite sport is badminton and ping pong.
